Lyn Horan

As a disabled artist I have already been used to adapting to imposed restrictions as to how I make my art in terms of space, size, medium. But then innovation is at the core of creativity. COVID-19 is the GREAT MAGNIFYING GLASS for all existing societal issues. Its impact is individual and universal so how could it not dominate the content of my present work. Though I have lost teaching jobs and have had shows canceled, I am, like other artists learning new ways to share my work. The urge to regularly visually work out and chronicle the events of the world and my personal life remain even more essential, a survival tool. Thus, the COVID-19 Diary.
