In many ways, I resonate with this kind of simplicity, drawn to create minimal compositional elements within the frame. There seems to be a lack of people, but my daughter’s tally marks represent figures passing by our window — a signal that life continues. These photographs are about isolation and life at home with a sense of light glowing amidst overall darkness.
