Deborra Stewart-Pettengill is showing sculptures, paintings and prints created from 2020-2022. The work is inspired by natural forms and patterns, without a direct reference. Some pieces respond to political, cultural or pandemic related issues. Other pieces work with patterns and shapes to explore meditations on infinity, balance, and harmony. Conveying a sense of fluid motion, shifting direction, equilibrium and stasis, continues to be a focus. Overall, these abstract studies investigate the challenge of stabilizing turbulence in a time of volatility.…

Place: a photo show by the West Springfield High School Photo Class

The photographers of West Springfield High School have chosen "PLACE" for the theme of their first show of the 22-23 school year. Students were asked to reflect on their most recent "moving experiences", and many chose works closely connected to places or locations that they held dear. The photographers decided that this would be a good chance to share a beloved "place" with our greater community.

e.media is open for December Art Walk

e-media will be open for this Friday's Art Walk from 6:00pm until 8:00pm. We're very excited to be opening the exhibit of artist Gary Lippincott's work. We also have local favorites Tony Silva, and his wife, Michelle Marroquin, who will perform Latin American music and dance. The performance begins at 6:30pm, and is free to the public.

Paper Snowflakes and Chocolate
