In this time, I find myself returning to an intimate and personal style of art-making I had more or less abandoned for several years to focus on art that centers on community and amplifying the stories of other people. Feeling now cut off from community, I return to my roots. Small scale drawings, colored with ink, that use self-portraiture as a means to explore the themes that preoccupy me in this moment: anxiety, uncertainty, instability, disconnect.
