With the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, the world has contracted for many people. From my earliest moments I was used to a wide-open world. An immigrant who started life in East Africa, I had lived in four countries by age ten. Currently restricted to my own house, with walks nearby, I still count myself luckier than many. The scope of my photography has consequently shrunk and I have placed increasing emphasis on the small and fascinating world that surrounds us.
