I am a native to Western Massachusetts, and have photographed throughout New England, New York, and New Mexico since 1990. An internship at the Howard Greenberg Gallery in New York allowed me to concentrate on the finest documentary work, and later I managed the Yancey Richardson Gallery and supported the work of reputable contemporary artists. In addition to my contributions to Road Trip USA and Interval World Magazine, I have participated in solo and group exhibitions with Robin Rice Gallery, Silvermine Guild Art Center, the Maryland Federation of Art, and the Northampton Center for the Arts. I continue to work in landscapes and portraiture, and am currently photographing communities throughout the Pioneer Valley. These residents celebrate simple activities of leisure and recreation, appreciate town histories and landmarks, and contribute notable efforts towards agriculture and sustainability. These are locales where I was raised and inspired, hick towns that I was at times eager to leave, and now this region remains my way of life. I aim to share my connection to the valley in a way that is refreshingly raw.

BrownInc presents a wide range of contemporary photography, specializing in a relaxed documentary style. It is my goal to build collaborative relationships with the creative arts community and provide innovative photography fine art and editorial needs.
