Jason Montgomery

This work focuses on the continuing struggle for racial justice in our community. The collage materials are dated from the 1930's to the 1970's showing some of the history of the Black social justice movement and how it is basically the same now as it was then. It feels all the more important now, with Black Lives Matter, to show that this movement is the continuation of the unresolved injustice that is the history of the US.
