The initial pause in life outside my home, where my studio is located, allowed me to really put in some serious hours with my practice. I started to see what I had been working on through the lens of the present situation.Having the time to self analyze helped me focus the spirit that I felt these paintings needed to mean anything to me as I moved forward as an artist in such an uncertain world.
