Peter Cangialosi

Printmaker and Artist

I try to bring what I find most fascinating about a scene to the foreground in the hope that others will see it from a different perspective. My work is inspired by old buildings and architecture and the roads I travel. I’m continuing to explore the juxtaposition of nature and modern aesthetics – power lines and trees, train tracks and farmland, skylines and waterfronts.

I’m an artist, printmaker, and graphic designer living in Easthampton, Massachusetts. I graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design with degrees in illustration and graphic design. My work has appeared in various locations in Northampton, Amherst, and Shelburne Falls. Several of my pieces are part of the Boston Athenaeum’s permanent collection of New England landscape prints and photographs.
