“Much of the buzz about Easthampton’s renaissance in recent years focuses on the thriving art scene. While this attention is well-deserved, I am turning my lens toward the small, independent businesses and individuals who also make this city such a vibrant place to live. My intention is to focus on the people behind the rich energy alive in Easthampton who, through both long-established and more recent enterprises, make the city breathe. With an eye towards old and new Easthampton, here is a small sampling of the many pieces of this community that come together to produce that special “Easthampton Vibe.” — Lisa Quiñones
