Kamini Avril is an artist living and working in western MA. Avril exhibits regularly at Oxbow Gallery in Easthampton MA and at Bowery Gallery in NYC in solo and group shows. Her upcoming show “Frescos/Drawings” will be on display from October 2nd-October 26th in the back gallery at Oxbow Gallery. Avril writes about her creative process “I move between working from nature directly and working from the dictates of imagination. I like to think that memorizing will more fully inform my invention. However, it’s the urge to make something without knowing what – to allow it to become only in the doing, that really interests me.
