Peter entered creative photography more than 50 years ago at a time when color imagery was generally seen as commercial and vulgar, while the “purity” of the black-to-white tonal spectrum was felt (somewhat paradoxically) better-suited to both: a) the artistic-aesthetic transmission of meaning — and b) the pursuit of documentary objectivity. It was in the exploration of both those aspects that he first found my creative footing.
