Opening reception for an exhibit of recent abstract embroidery work and watercolors by Amherst artist Bonnie Sennott. The show will include her two yearlong stitch journal projects, A Year in Thread and Daily Thread, which documented the changing seasons through daily embroidery, as well as her 2022 “stones and water” watercolor series. The show runs September 2-30 in the ECA Gallery, open Wednesdays and Fridays, noon-2 pm and Saturday 9/18, 10 am-noon.
