Oxbow Gallery presents the upcoming back gallery show “Stitchin’ Kin” a Mother/Daughter Art Show displaying the work of Anneke S. Corbett and Hannah Corbett. Anneke S. Corbett is a quilter who derives inspiration from nature & fabrics. She states “The breathtaking moments of seeing creatures in the wild & then trying to convey the same in a quilt are often what keep me in the studio.” Anneke’s daughter, Hannah Corbett, is an embroiderer who is currently creating the artwork for an Oracle Deck that she plans to self-publish. The images she is embroidering uses brightly colored thread on black linen.
