Amanda Barrow will exhibit her unique paintings and monotype one-of-a-kind prints at the Elusie Gallery at Big Red Frame from September 6-27, 2025, in a show entitled “Conversations With Water”. All artworks are inspired by her keen observations and interactions with water – for example, either swimming in or under the ocean water or in pools, sitting on top of water while kayaking in the Connecticut River or the Atlantic Ocean, listening to waves gurgle and crash, or watching icicles melt on Mt Tom in Holyoke, MA. Giant color grids of color blocks will fill the gallery walls, as well as thin slices of painted landscapes will be seen.  Additionally, a special artist’s talk and musical event will take place on Thursday, September 25 from 6-7.30pm (thanks to a grant from the Easthampton Cultural Council & Mass Cultural Council).
