Now in Eastworks #205, artist Patty Czepiel Hayes continues to explore expressive landscapes from her imagination, as well as birds (particularly herons). A solvent-free painter for decades, she works in traditional oils, stretches her own canvases, and also works on cradled panels. A graphic designer by trade, she prints, mats, and frames archival pigment (digital) prints of her original paintings. She also offers notecards and reproductions on ceramic tile. There is something for everyone in her studio. She might even be working on a painting during Art Walk. (No worries; solvent free = no fumes.)
