Oxbow Gallery will exhibit the work of Catherine Swift in her new show “Tension”. Swift has always been an artist, but developed an acute interest in painting over the past 20 years. She describes it as a critical form of expression, which she uses to communicate experiences, thoughts, and feelings. The basic tenet of her work is an “internal landscape” which she presents through shape, color, texture, and abstract images.
