Peter Pettengill started Wingate Studio in 1985 as a small print workshop on his family farm in Hinsdale, NH.. He had previously worked as a master printer at Crown Point Press, in Oakland, CA. Wingate Studio prints can be found in the permanent collections of the Baltimore Museum of Art, Cleveland Museum of Art, Library of Congress, Whitney Museum of Art and many other public and private collections. Wingate has collaborated with Louise Bourgeois, Walton Ford, Sol LeWitt, John Cage, Robert Motherwell, Robert Ryman, Robert Mapplethorpe and more recently Barbara Takenaga, Marie Watt, Ambreen Butt, Josephine Halvorson, Tunji Adenyi-Jones and Paula Wilson
