A devotee of drawing and sketching from an early age, Ed O’Brien has come a long way from his childhood art. Throughout his career in engineering, he never lost his passion for art. Since 1988, he has studied with many artists and has been pursuing a full-time artistic career since 1999. A landscape painting instructor at the Hill Institute in Florence, he offers a vivid interpretation of local environment. O’Brien’s paintings reflect and celebrate the natural landscapes and pastoral settings of New England.
