Painting any chance he got and wanting to leave his mark in the annals of fine art, Jeffrey Gillis’ first show was in McKenna’s Bar at 14th and 8th. For his latest show, Una Familia, the spotlight is on his in-laws and the time of his wedding in the Dominican Republic. Coming from a family in which he had one first cousin, the whole idea of family is new to him.
