Going Within: Self Portrait as Medicine, curated by Tracey Eller, is an exhibition of self-portraits created by a wide range of artists in a variety of media. Tracey is a portrait and editorial photographer based in Easthampton, MA who has been exploring the subjects of loss, love, and transformation through self-portraiture. Building upon this experience, Tracey has curated an exhibition across multiple mediums and genres related to “self-portraiture as medicine”. She has selected works of art that express that “need to go within” and discovering the inner vulnerability and transformation that ensues. This exhibition is a powerful and engaging platform that is rich with the themes of love, loss, vulnerability and transformation.
