“Join us in celebrating the enduring legacy and creative spirit of the Cottage Street Studios Artists Community.

For over 45 years, Cottage Street Studios in Easthampton has been home to a dynamic community of artists and makers. As the first factory building in Easthampton to be transformed into artist studios, Cottage Street Artists sparked a movement that deeply enriched the cultural landscape of the city.

This special exhibition, held in both galleries of Ciy Space’s Old Town Hall, showcases the work of more than 41 artists and makers, past and present tenants of Cottage Street Studios , who have contributed to the vitality of this essential arts hub. Featuring paintings, photography, printmaking, ceramics, fiber art, sculptures, fine crafts, poetry, and more, this exhibit is a tribute to the resilience and history of our artistic community.

Despite recent challenges—including the displacement of many artists and makers due to steep rent increases—our community remains vibrant, close-knit, and committed to enriching Easthampton and the surrounding region through the arts.
