Brian Chu’s titled his show “New old painting”

This exhibition showcases 25 small to medium-sized oil paintings of cityscapes and still
life. Created through direct observation on location and developed over time in the
studio, these works represent an ongoing personal journey. They explore the process of
moving beyond initial impressions, revealing moments of discovery and negotiation of
artistic choices.
