Andrea (Andi) Holland is a Western Massachusetts–based freelance illustrator and fine artist whose work is deeply inspired by the natural world, often seeking out what she describes as the “magic” found in trees and landscapes. After beginning her artistic journey during the isolation of the COVID-19 pandemic—following a long career in healthcare—she has developed a multidisciplinary practice spanning graphite, charcoal, mixed media, and digital art. Her pieces range from expressive portraiture and children’s illustration to evocative depictions of local places, all unified by a sense of curiosity and imagination. Now, Holland is debuting a whole new collection on view at Dry Humor, where her work continues to explore emotion, storytelling, and the beauty of the everyday.
