Kari Bell

My art addresses gun violence from a back door perspective. That is, I so get that this is a major problem but I do believe that through groups like Moms Demand Action there is hope. Sometimes it's hard to see, sometimes it feels like a desert mirage but it's there. My paintings Dawn and Squint reflect that hope that together we can get through these awful times, find solutions to issues other than violence. We must never lose sight of the goals, as elusive as they may seem.
