With the isolation constraints of the past seven months the inspiration for my usual creative vise, a camera for over 35 years, has dwindled. Instead, I have spent time in my studio working with mixed-media collage. I listen to the news and podcasts and try to grapple with all the complexities of the current political and social climate. I find the collage-making process equally cathartic and centering, it’s grounding when everything else feels so up in the air.
