DESCRIPTION:Visit Easthampton Media during Art Walk on Friday February 7th from 6-9pm and view 2 Local Documentaries: \nShowing at 6pm & 7:30pm – “Albert Kiesling Remembered”\nSynopsis: Albert Kiesling (1885-1968) was born in Clinton\, MA and moved to Easthampton to work in the textile mills. He could often be seen in the 1940s through the 1960s around town with an easel and paintbox\, capturing a town landmark or rural landscapes. Albert also created big snow sculptures and elaborate parade floats that dazzled the locals. In this short film\, Easthampton residents recall fond memories of the artist and his work. \nShowing at 6:30pm & 7:45pm – “The Story of Nashawannuck Pond”\nSynopsis: Nashawannuck Pond was originally created in 1847 by the Williston – Knight Button Company to provide hydroelectric power to the industrial mills. In this documentary\, Easthampton residents talk about the history\, memories\, and what the pond means to them. \nBoth films were produced through Easthampton Media.\nThis event is part of 7th Annual Easthampton WinterFest\nFREE & Open to the public!

Must be 21. \nTickets are only available for purchase online and are non-refundable.  Tickets will NOT be available at the door.  As with any of our outdoor events\, the ice bar will be held “weather permitting”. \n​Admission includes access to the ice bar and light appetizers.  Enter the Brass Cat’s main entrance and the door to the patio area is straight ahead.  We will have someone at the door checking tickets.

DESCRIPTION:The 6th Annual Easthampton Winterfest\nWHEN: February 9\, 2019 @ 10:00 am – 5:00 pm \nThe 6th Annual Easthampton WinterFest will be held in locations throughout the city on Saturday\, February 9\, 2019.  The day long festival is coordinated by the Nashawannuck Pond Steering Committee. WinterFest is a fundraising event created to bring public awareness about ongoing efforts needed to keep Nashawannuck Pond healthy for generations to come. Most activities are free to attend. Donations are gladly accepted and sponsorship opportunities are available. \nActivities include ice harvesting on Nashawannuck Pond\, wagon rides\, nature hikes\, snow sculpting and carving\, community bonfire with music. Indoor activities include a craft fair\, kid’s entertainment\, the movie “Frozen” on the big screen\, and the people’s choice chili cook off. Bring the kids\, grandparents\, friends and out of area visitors and make it a day in Easthampton.
