DESCRIPTION:The Garden: A Center for Grieving Children and Teens – a program of Cooley Dickinson VNA & Hospice proudly presents \nArt with Heart.\nA program where local artists work with grieving kids ages 5-18 from across western Massachusetts to create Art with Heart\, as a way of reinforcing the connection between the head\, heart\, and hand to help people express their feelings around grief. \nThe artwork made in this unique program serves as a “container” for one’s feelings that arise. Participating artists lead small-group sessions teaching kids their art medium. \nAll artwork created is shown throughout western Massachusetts in different venues throughout 2022 and 2023. Including this exhibit at the Elusie Gallery.

Discover prints depicting elaborate ceremonies and festivals\, as well the intricate beauty routines practiced by women in preparation. Explore many of the spiritual traditions of Japan through images of magnificent temples and statues\, and the ghosts and spirits of popular stories. DESCRIPTION:Cyndy Sperry will be showing new paintings and drawings\, back Gallery\,  that derive inspiration from Edward Hicks (1780-1849)\, a 19th Century American Quaker who ministered\, farmed\, built coaches\, and made over 60 paintings related to the theme of a “Peaceable Kingdom” in the last decade of his life.  Former Oxbow member Joanna Dunn will be sharing new ceramics and prints similarly inspired by Edward Hick’s work.  Below\, “Peaceable Kingdom\,” oil on panel\, 36 x 36”

DESCRIPTION:What happens when two sets of parents meet up to deal with the unruly behaviour of their children? A calm and rational debate between grown-ups about the need to teach kids how to behave properly? Or a hysterical night of name-calling\, tantrums and tears before bedtime? Boys will be boys\, but the adults may be worse – much worse. God of Carnage\, winner of the Olivier Award for Best Comedy and the Tony award for Best Play. will be presented by the Easthampton Theater Company in CitySpace’s Blue Room at  Old Town Hall May 11-13 at 7:30PM and May 14th at 2PM.
