SUMMARY:Cottage Street Sings!
DESCRIPTION:Cottage Street Sings! \nThe Cottage Street Cultural District Committee is planning a new and exciting event called Cottage Street Sings! Communal singing is a vibrant part of many cultural traditions from around the world. In that spirit\, the Cottage Street Cultural District will host a communal singing event that aims to bring together members of the community to celebrate winter seasonal music of a wide variety of cultures\, faiths\, and traditions. \nThe event will take place on the Cottage Street promenade along Nashawannuck Pond at the entryway to the cultural district. It will be held at 5pm on December 8\, 2018 and will last 30 minutes. Participants will sing seasonal songs from a variety of religious and cultural traditions. The event will culminate in the lighting of Cottage Street\, including the tree on the pond along with artist projections on various buildings along the street. This event is open to all and it is the committee’s goal to have all traditions represented during the event. \nCottage Street Sings also coincides with two other exciting events in the district: Art Walk\, which begins at 5pm\, and the annual Easthampton Chaunukah Festival\, which will begin at 5:30pm directly following Cottage Street Sings. \nAll of the music that we gather will be distributed to the public in advance in the form of recordings and notated music and lyrics so that all can participate in joyful singing on Cottage Street. You can find all of that music right here on this event page. \nThis is event is FREE\, family-friendly\, and open to ALL! We hope to see you there!! \nThe Cottage Street Cultural District is an initiative of Easthampton City Arts and the City of Easthampton.

DESCRIPTION:Come try out some circus-fun at Easthampton’s own circus school: SHOW Circus Studio! \nTrial classes are a great opportunity to come into our circus studio and see what we’re all about. We offer 3 trial classes: Ages 4-6\, Ages 7-12\, and Teens/Adults.  Each trial class requires registration and a $5 non-refundable deposit to hold your spot but it can be applied to future enrollments. The regular session starts after the trial class day.

DESCRIPTION:Studio 404 on the 4th floor of Cottage Street Studios. Come visit our studio on Art Walk Saturday in Easthampton. I’ll be doing demos\, talking about our new “Make Plates with Me” events. If it’s slow\, I’ll be making work. If people come to shop\, I’ll be doing sales. The studio will be set up as it is during production times (not like at Open Studios). Come learn about how we make the pottery. Other art studios in the building will be open for part of this time.
