“I have been painting furniture and creating holiday and year round ornaments for quite some time. It has resulted in an accumulation of furniture legs, trim bits, beads and baubles. Then came a Covid pause and time for reflection and experimentation;

‘This furniture leg turned upside down would make a great base. I wonder how big I could make the bird ornament form? There would be more surface area for embellishment and the wing could be articulated. How large do they make those star forms?’

You can write a wish, message or mantra for yourself or someone else. They are colorful and unexpected and I hope they bring a smile to viewers. We all need more of that.”
