Personal Statement
I've always been overwhelmed by the diversity and energy of nature. My obsession with animals is at the centre of this fascination. Every aspect of their being concerns me; their movement, their behaviour - even their smell! My work has always sought the form and feeling rather than mere appearance. I'm trying to create sculpture which traps a kind of TRUTH or FACT. Dog, horse, bird and monkey are reoccuring themes.
