Kathy LacroixEasthampton Photographer Kathy LaCroix exhibits a selection of work at the Greater Easthampton Chamber of Commerce Gallery from February 21- April 1, 2013.

Both black and white and color, LaCroix’s digital images capture locations in the Northeast from Providence, RI to Easthampton, MA.

“When I retired, I replaced my Minolta film camera with a Sony digital SLR, and recently a D-SLT,” says LaCroix.

The photographer has been an avid participant in photo workshops hosted by the Robert Floyd Photo Gallery and Learning Center in Southampton. The workshop group travels to a variety of locations throughout the Northeast and captures places, events, and objects that embody these destinations.

“A warm summer evening” is a color image by LaCroix that captures a bustling Mount Tom’s Homemade Ice Cream during the busy summer of the 2012 Bear Fest. This image will be on view in this exhibit and was recently chosen for the Eastmont Art Fund 2013 Calendar. LaCroix’s work has been included in exhibitions at the Elusie Gallery, Robert Floyd Photo Gallery, and the Easthampton City Arts+ where she is a member.

All proceeds from sold work in this exhibition will be generously donated to the Eastmont Art Fund and the Pascommuck Conservation Trust. This exhibit is free and open to the public. The gallery, located at 33 Union Street, Easthampton, MA, is open Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
