Easthampton celebrates its fifth annual Fire and Ice Art Walk on February 16, 2013 with performances, exhibitions, poetry readings, a bonfire, and luminaries in venues throughout the city. All events are free and open to the public.

The day will kick-off with the event, Historical Ice Harvest on Nashawannuck Pond, funded in-part by the Easthampton Cultural Council. Historian Denis Picard will present on the former Easthampton enterprise of commercial ice harvesting. Learn more about ice harvesting and see the antique tools used from 12-3 p.m. at the Nashawannuck Pond.

From 5:00- 6:00 p.m. join the celebratory bonfire at the Nashawannuck pond starting at with luminaries, poetry, and crafts.

Continue the evening at venues throughout the city for numerous art openings, music and performances until 8 p.m. See luminaries and performances throughout the city from 5 - 8 p.m. at this wonderful Art Walk Easthampton!
