Art without restrictions. Art is just...whatever you want it to be. For many, art provides an escape from the pressures of day-to-day modern life. Whether you actively participate in the making of it, or you appreciate the viewing of it, art can be an influence on us all on many levels, including therapeutic. To engage viewers, evoking thoughts and feelings, without imposing my predisposition on them is always lingering in the back of my mind before I start a new piece. My desire, if I had to put words to it, is to create pieces that are sometimes contemplative, sometimes thought provoking, sometimes not so beautiful, or sometimes just a beautiful image.
